Pulling out stories from popular novels seems to be in now. And if it’s a book written by Chetan Bhagat then the film becomes a must watched! After 3idiots Bollywood has eyed the author’s second novel. They want to churn out a commercial hit from it. You know that Bhagat’s second book is 2 States, don’t you? They novel narrates a love story of a Punjabi boy and a Tamil Brahmin.
Arjun Kapoor will play the lead in an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States!
These characters will come alive under the Dharma Productions banner. So director Karan Johar will be producing the film along with Sajid Nadiawala who has brought all the rights from the original storyteller.
The love story will be directed by debutant Abhishek Varman who has already won the confidence of Karan and Sajid. Now lets get to the main point of consideration! Who will be playing the handsome Punjabi boy? Any guesses? People, its none other than Arjun Kapoor. The makers were so impressed by the newcomer’s performance that they called him for the lead role at once.
Wow! I cant wait to watch the film. But will it be as good as the book?
